2019 & 2015 Zero Project Award
Scytl has been granted the 2019 Zero Project award for its support to the New South Wales and Western Australia Electoral Commissions in facilitating visually impaired citizens to vote independently and privately. The award ceremony took place during the Zero Project annual conference held at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria on February 20-22.
Scytl was selected from over 318 projects nominated from across the globe by Zero Project’s network of +3,000 disability and accessibility experts.
This is the second time that Scytl has received recognition from the Zero Project. In 2015, Scytl was awarded the Zero Project award for Innovative Policies and Practices for its contribution in supporting disabled and visually impaired citizens in the State of Victoria, Australia in 2006 and 2010.
Zero Project is a joint initiative of the Essl Foundation, the World Future Council and the European Foundation Centre, that promotes the rights of disabled people and also has the support of organizations such as the United Nations, IFES and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
