BallotNext
Scytl’s BallotNext project (# IPT-2012-0603-430000) has been co-financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) and the European Fund for Regional Development (FEDER). The project will focus on the development of BallotNext, an innovative system for on-site voting that provides an online/offline hybrid mechanism (via Internet / traditional) with the aim of increasing the usability, security, and speed of the counting of ballots in traditional elections.
“The Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain (MINECO), within the National Plan of scientific research, development and technological innovation 2008-2011, granted aid to the” BallotNext “project led by SCYTL with file number IPT-2012-0603-430000. This project has been funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the INNPACTO Subprogram, Call 2012. The objective of the project is to create BallotNext, an innovative face-to-face voting system that combines mechanisms of electronic and traditional paper to allow for increased usability, security and speed of counting in traditional elections.
