in projects worldwide
Our dedicated researchers are active participants in a number of innovative security and modernization projects. They are committed to helping find creative solutions to modern challenges by utilizing their research at Scytl as a foundation.
The main objective of the Contactless Audit project is to facilitate election result audits, to speed up the confirmation of final results, and to contribute to electoral transparency through the use of chipless RFID components printable on paper, advanced cryptographic protocols, and new election auditing algorithms adapted to these components and protocols.
One of the main technological novelties of the project lies in the fact that the audit mechanism proposed in Contactless Audit allows an audit to be carried out at the global level of the votes and not at the ballot box level, so that a hypothetical manipulation (or fraud) would be detected with total probability when carrying out an audit of a certain percentage of the votes of all the ballot boxes.
