Jun 29, 2022

This month on our online voting blog EDGE, our Research & Security team discussed various technologies used throughout the election cycle. Adrià Rodríguez Pérez, Public Policy Researcher, highlighted the different processes of counting, tabulating, and publishing election results, and the different technologies that can be used to streamline and secure each phase. He and Jordi Cucurull, Cryptography Researcher, also analyzed the challenges and possibilities quantum cryptography offers online voting.

Meanwhile, on our corporate blog, we walked through the benefits that online voting technology can bring to university board elections, and the key steps to planning an online event. We also detailed important considerations when it comes to managing an online meeting, and helpful points to address when choosing an online voting provider.
