Scytl Joins the World Bank in Supporting Global Social Accountability

Scytl, the worldwide leader in secure online voting and election modernization, joins the World Bank in supporting global social accountability to help civil society and governments to work together to solve critical governance challenges in developing countries.

In the effort to help support the strengthening global government transparency and accountability, Scytl joins the World Bank Global Partnership for Social Accountability (GPSA) initiative. Scytl´s efforts and eDemocracy technology will help support citizens in ensuring an articulated voice, help governments to listen, and assist government agencies to act upon the feedback they receive. A joint effort that together with the GPSA network looks to promote:

• Credibility & public trust via the transparency provided to citizens with new and efficient 2 way communication channels and the sharing of collective knowledge.
• Data driven decision making based on actionable information resulting from citizen and participative data.
• Proactive engagement with key influencing citizenship groups via the identification of key trends and issues.
• Automatic prioritization & rationalization of key citizen issues, concerns, and trends via the analysis of data from both formal and informal citizen engagement channels.

“We are delighted to support the membership network in promoting the value of new information and communication technologies such as Scytl´s in the governance space, by helping eliminate the barriers between citizens and politicians, and enabling ongoing engagement and participation,” concludes Pere Valles, CEO Scytl.
