Online Poll Worker Training to be provided to the State of Connecticut

Scytl’s election management subsidiary, SOE Software, has been awarded a contract by the Connecticut Secretary of State’s Elections Division for its online poll worker training platform, Clarity TRAINING, for use in the 2012 Election cycle. This dynamic training resource is utilized by over 450,000 poll workers in jurisdictions throughout the United States. Customized curriculum designed to appeal to adult learners encompasses interactive “edutainment” exercises, in-course assessments and multi-media demonstrations that are proven to attract and retain learner’s attention. While every Clarity TRAINING customer benefits from “best practices” developed and proven by elections leaders in other jurisdictions, the Connecticut focused program will cover all areas of poll worker duties to include Election Day processes and procedures, working with voters with special needs, equipment set-up and tear down and more. The online training solution will be delivered via the internet enabling every poll worker to learn at their pace and at their convenience 24 hours / day 7 days / week.
