iVote will be leveraged once again by New South Wales remote voters and persons with disabilities in the upcoming NSW by-elections on April 8, 2017 in Gosford, Manly, and Northshore. In addition to its successful deployment for the 2016 NSW by-elections, the iVote platform was also used in the 2015 NSW State General Election where the over 280,000 online votes, an increase of 500% in adoption over its earlier use, set the standard for the world’s largest, most accessible and innovative internet voting implementation. The iVote system continues to receive praise from auditors, security experts and citizens.
Scytl´s advanced security framework not only ensures the integrity of an election, but enables voters to verify their vote as an added safeguard against malicious tampering attacks, an important security aspect of the iVote® System.
