Scytl has recently filed a new international PCT patent application to protect a method that guarantees a secure and auditable consolidation of election results from different polling stations and different voting channels. This innovative method combines advanced cryptography and biometrics to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of the local results and to prevent the manipulation of those results once they have been transmitted. With this latest patent, Scytl has one of the most extensive portfolios of patents in the electoral industry with patents covering from remote and poll-site e-voting to voter registration and results consolidation.
