Yesterday, Scytl election experts presented alongside higher education leaders from Amazon Web Services (AWS) at the 2023 Annual Conference for the Northeast Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP), a consortium of IT professionals from nearly 300 universities. Scytl’s session, Online Voting for Colleges and Universities: Ensuring Security, Accessibility, Privacy, and Transparency, focused on recent implementations of our online voting solutions at major US universities, and the importance of security and transparency in cloud-hosted solutions for higher education.
NERCOMP 2023 attendees took home lessons learned from the experiences Scytl has had implementing and rolling out new online voting systems in higher education settings, and gained important perspective on the urgent need for sophisticated, cloud-hosted solutions that guarantee security, accessibility, privacy, and transparency.
