During July and August, more than 50 U.S. county and state clients participated in Scytl’s Election Night Reporting (ENR) security webinar series to increase knowledge and awareness of the available security features. Scytl explained the foundational security to the ENR module, as well as the areas where security is a joint responsibility between Scytl and our election partners.
Security measures such as 2-factor authentication, increased password hygiene, and more make it easier than ever for our partners to be confident that their ENR is using the latest security protocols and recommendations by the EAC and DHS.
Jonathan Brill, General Manager, Scytl U.S., is happy to note, “Scytl is proud to partner with elections administrators across the U.S. We work hard to ensure we are using the latest security measures available, and to make it easy for our partners to understand and use those security measures. Our goal is the same as our partners’ goal – safe and secure elections.”
The increased security measures were fully implemented at the end of August, giving elections administrators several months to adjust before the November 6 election.
