Scytl Sponsors Election Communications Workshop at 2022 AMCTO Conference

Jun 17, 2022

Scytl recently sponsored the workshop “Kick-starting an Effective Election Comms Strategy” at the 2022 Annual AMCTO Conference of The Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO). Scytl’s VP of Business Development & Global Alliances, Ben Fagg, and Director of Partnerships, Rob Herold, sat down with the City of Markham’s City Clerk & Director of Legislative Services, Corporate Communications and Community Engagement, Kimberley Kitteringham, and their Manager of Election Communications and Community Engagement, Michael Blackburn, to discuss key considerations and best practices in building an election communications strategy.

Together, the panel shared strategies for communicating election details, how to use data to drive communication decisions, and important insights when it comes to communicating the use of an online voting channel. Scytl has long supported Ontario Municipalities, having helped modernize their electoral experience with secure online voting and election technology since 2014.

A virtual offering with a recording of the Scytl AMCTO conference workshop discussion will be available on July 4th for those who have registered. Find more information here.
