Scytl to Showcase Transparency Initiatives at Paris Peace Forum in November

Aug 12, 2019

As a proud member of the Co-Inform Consortium, Scytl team members have been chosen to showcase the project’s important transparency initiatives at the Paris Peace Forum on November 11th through the 13th. The Co-Inform project aims to tackle the spread of misinformation on social media and to promote digital literacy for a more informed society. It is an EU-funded project that brings together social scientists, fact-checking journalists, computer scientists, and software developers to address the problem of misinformation through multidisciplinary research and experience.

By 2020, the Co-Inform project plans to release a set of tools for inhibiting the spread of misinformation, which will later be piloted in 3 EU countries. These tools, developed from a series of interviews, surveys, and workshops currently underway, are a critical step in protecting our democracies.
