Scytl’s e-election platform successfully used to run Ecuador’s national elections

Mar 11, 2013

The national elections held in Ecuador on February 17 were successfully run using Scytl’s end-to-end integrated election modernization platform. This secure platform allowed the National Election Commission to manage 4 elections simultaneously, including the management of the electoral register for over 11 million voters, the management of political parties and candidates, the training of polling station workers, the control of election expenditures and the technical assistance to over 40,000 polling stations. This integrated platform also allowed the National Election Commission to publish the official results in just a few hours after the closing of the polls by scanning and electronically transmitting over 160,000 polling station reports. This project is a significant milestone for Scytl, being the first implementation of Scytl’s end-to-end e-election platform in Latin America.
