Scytls EDMP solution successful used in the U.S. Presidential Election

Scytl’s Election Day Management Platform (EDMP) has been successfully used to support multiple counties in the State of Virginia, including the City of Richmond, during the last U.S. Presidential election. The technology supported election administrators in processing voters with special situations, without requiring staff to query the State’s voter registration system, and managed effectively the 20% increase in new voter applications. Using local computer resources, election administrators were able to quickly, accurately, and uniformly find resolution to voters with special situations and ensure that voter lines did not cause significant wait times.
