Scytl’s Post-Quantum Research Published in Conference Proceedings

Apr 16, 2020

Last year, Scytl’s cryptography researcher Núria Costa, alongside Polytechnic University of Catalonia Professors Paz Morillo and Ramiro Martínez, presented a new paper, “Lattice-Based Proof of a Shuffle,” at the 2019 Financial Cryptography and Data Security Conference. The paper, which was presented during the 4th Workshop on Advances in Secure Electronic Voting, has recently been published in the conference proceedings.

The paper addresses how anonymity in an online election can be maintained, even with the future arrival of quantum computers, which will have the computing abilities to breakthrough many of today’s cryptographic barriers. You can read the article in its entirety here.
