Adrià Rodríguez-Pérez, Scytl’s Public Policy Research, and Jordi Puiggalí, Scytl’s CSO and SVP of Research & Security, recently contributed to a new book on the use of online voting by political parties. Their chapter, entitled “Internet voting for political parties: comparing Scytl’s experiences,” analyzes eight recent cases of political parties utilizing Scytl’s secure online voting technology, and discusses common trends and the unique characteristics of each experience.
Scytl first began offering online voting services to political parties in 2012, starting with the New Democratic Party of Canada, and has since offered its secure platforms to parties of all sizes across the world.
The book, The digitalization of political parties and the use of electronic voting, was authored by Jordi Barrat I Esteve and Miguel Pérez-Moneo Agapito, and was published by Aranzadi.
