Following the Presidential Executive Order to research and recommend best practices to ensure all eligible voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots without undue delay, the Presidential Commission on Election Administration has invited SOE to present their views concerning the future of voting technology during a public meeting to be held September 19, 2013.
With the goal of empowering all voters and removing obstacles that prevent groups of voters, such as members of the military, overseas voters, voters with disabilities, and voters with limited English proficiency, from casting their ballots, SOE will demonstrate early ballot delivery and online voting technologies. These tools are effective and efficient solutions to help enfranchise voters and create efficiencies across the entire electoral process (pre-election, Election Day, post-election) with innovative and proven election modernization strategies.
