The Spanish Arthroscopy Association Leverages Online Voting for the First Time

Jul 17, 2019

For the first time, the Spanish Arthroscopy Association (AEA) has successfully implemented online voting technology for an internal election held in May 2019 in which AEA members could vote to choose the new logo for the Association. Scytl Online Voting was used during the five-day advanced voting period, while paper voting was used on Election Day.

The AEA introduced online voting technology as a complementary voting channel to traditional paper voting to provide greater accessibility, flexibility and convenience to their members, allowing them to securely cast their votes remotely from their desired location using a mobile device or computer of their choice. Having successfully experienced the benefits of the online voting channel, the AEA is very satisfied with this new experience and plans to continue using online voting in the upcoming elections.
