The U.S. Patent Office grants Scytl a new patent

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted Scytl a patent that protects the proprietary cryptographic protocols developed by Scytl to guarantee vote integrity, voters’ privacy and election auditability in Internet voting. The patent also protects the generation of voting receipts to allow voters to individually verify the inclusion of their votes in the final tally.
