Scytl Online Voting to improve accessibility in the City of Sudbury

Juin 26, 2014

In an effort to help increase voter turnout, improve accessibility and make voting more convenient for its upcoming 2014 municipal and school board elections this October, the City of Greater Sudbury is leveraging Scytl Online Voting enabling internet voting for the first time in the city.

By offering additional voting channels and making poll side voting more convenient,  Caroline Hallsworth Executive Director Administrative Services/ City Clerk, City of Greater Sudbury hopes to see not only an increase in voter turnout but an improvement in the voting experience. Online voting will be available for advanced voting from October 14-24, allowing voters to cast their ballot anytime, from anywhere and on any device (PC, laptops, smartphones, etc.).
