Equality

Overview

SCYTL has a strong commitment to equal treatment and opportunities between women and men, and is evidenced, among other actions, by the development, negotiation, and implementation of this Equality Plan.

The Plan is based on a basic principle: the principle of equal treatment between women and men, which represents the commitment to access to employment, training, promotions, remuneration, the reconciliation of personal, family and working life and, the prevention against harassment and sexist attitudes.

Objectives of the Plan

  • Promote the defense and effective implementation of the principle of equal treatment and opportunities between women and men.
  • Generate statistics to learn about and encourage equal participation of both genders in various people management processes.
  • Promote and improve women’s access to positions of responsibility.
  • Preventing labor discrimination based on gender through the use of communication channels designed and developed for these cases.

Equality Commission

The purpose of an Equality Commission is to monitor the results and propose improvements for the actions of the Equality Plan. The Equality Commission will review the fulfillment of the objectives set in the Equality Plan.

Equality Agent

The Equality Agent is the person designated in the organization in charge of ensuring equal treatment and opportunities within the company’s organization chart and will be responsible for managing, implementing, and supervising compliance with the Equality Plan.
