Today at 4:00pm CET, Scytl Public Policy Researcher, Adrià Rodríguez-Pérez (PhD), will be participating in a data privacy and diplomacy webinar, organized by the Barcelona Science and Technology Diplomacy Hub (SciTech DiploHub) and the Barcelona Institute of International Studies. Titled Data Diplomacy and the Future of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the webinar discussion will focus on the recently announced draft decision by the European Commission on the EU-US data privacy framework, which would pave the way for a potential data transfer deal to be adopted next year.
The webinar is part of the SciTech DiploHub’s SciDip Talks series, initiated in 2020 during the first round of lockdowns of the Covid-19 pandemic. The SciDip Talks are SciTech DiploHub’s flagship outreach program on Science Diplomacy, which consists of a series of free online talks by leading world experts in science, technology, and innovation diplomacy, geopolitics and sustainability.
