The Spanish Police Force increases by 50% its voter turnout with Scytl Online Voting

Nov 8, 2017

The Spanish Police Force (Guardia Civil) successfully leveraged Scytl Online Voting to elect their staff representatives last month. While the members of the Spanish Police Force could choose to vote via postal mail or electronically from any polling place, the online channel resulted to be the most preferred voting method used by over 92% of the voters. Scytl also provided a multi-channel results consolidation system and a new credential delivery system, which helped reduce by 80% the efforts required to manage the election process. The use of online voting led to a significant 50% increase in voter turnout, another proof of how technology fosters voter participation and supports organizations in being more efficient in the management of their elections.
