Scytl’s technology was used in the largest online election ever conducted by a public agency in the United States. With the aim of boosting voter participation, King Conservation District (KCD) in the State of Washington used Internet voting as an alternative to in-person balloting during its Board of Supervisors election where one million voters were eligible to cast ballots over the Internet from their home computers. This project was carried out in cooperation with Election Trust.
